Terms, Trust & Safety

Last updated: June 9, 2025

Welcome to DriveSchoolHub. This page explains how our marketplace works, how we promote safety, and what you can expect from us, from Schools, and from other users.

This page is a high-level explanation. Please read the full legal documents above.

Welcome to DriveSchoolHub ("DriveSchoolHub", "we", "our", or "us"). DriveSchoolHub is an online marketplace that helps students discover, compare, and book driving lessons with independent driving schools and instructors.

By accessing or using DriveSchoolHub (including our website, apps, and related services), you agree to these Terms, Trust & Safety policy ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Important Note

This page is a high-level explanation of how DriveSchoolHub works and how we promote safety. It does not replace a full legal Terms of Use or Privacy Policy. Please read those documents as well.

1. What DriveSchoolHub is (and is not)

DriveSchoolHub is a marketplace and booking platform. We provide tools that allow:

  • Driving schools and instructors ("Schools") to list services, manage bookings, and receive payments
  • Students ("Students") to search, compare, and book those services

Schools are independent businesses, not employees, agents, or representatives of DriveSchoolHub.

We do not own or operate the driving schools, vehicles, or training programs listed on the site.

DriveSchoolHub does NOT:

  • • Provide driving instruction
  • • Certify instructors
  • • Operate vehicles
  • • Guarantee that any student will pass any exam or obtain a license

Your agreement for lessons is ultimately between you and the School. DriveSchoolHub facilitates the transaction and provides support, but is not a party to that service contract.

2. Account eligibility and obligations

By using DriveSchoolHub, you confirm that:

1

You are at least the minimum legal age required to enter into a binding contract where you live, or you have consent from a parent/guardian who will be responsible for your bookings.

2

The information you provide (name, contact details, payment information) is accurate and kept up to date.

3

You will use DriveSchoolHub only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4

You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Verification of schools and instructors

DriveSchoolHub maintains a verification program designed to ensure that only legitimate, licensed schools and instructors can list on the platform.

What we verify for schools

  • Legal business identity (name, registration, contact details)
  • Driving-school license or authorization, where required by state or local law
  • Proof of insurance for behind-the-wheel instruction, where applicable
  • A written cancellation and refund policy
  • Contact details for student support

What we verify for instructors

  • Government-issued ID and valid driver's license
  • Instructor certificates or endorsements required by state law
  • Agreement to our instructor code of conduct

Ongoing monitoring

  • • Periodic document checks (for example, license or insurance expiration)
  • • Monitoring of reviews, ratings, and complaint history
  • • Ability to pause or remove Schools or instructors where safety or compliance issues are identified

Because regulations vary by location and can change over time, our verification steps may differ by state or country and may change as we improve the program.

4. Payments, escrow, and refunds

DriveSchoolHub handles payments between Students and Schools using secure payment processors.

4.1 How payments work

  • • When you book, you pay DriveSchoolHub, not the School directly.
  • • Your card or chosen payment method is charged immediately for the full amount shown at checkout.
  • • Funds are held in a secure escrow account until the School delivers lessons according to its refund/cancellation policy, or until the booking is cancelled.

4.2 Escrow release

  • • After your first lesson is completed and no dispute is reported, DriveSchoolHub deducts its service fee and initiates a payout to the School.
  • • Banks and payment processors may take additional time to deposit funds into the School's bank account.
  • • For multi-lesson packages, payouts may be released in stages or according to the School's policy.

4.3 Refunds and cancellations

  • • Each School's own refund and cancellation policy controls how much of your booking is refundable and under what conditions.
  • • You must review and accept the School's policy before confirming your booking.
  • • Where the School's policy is silent or conflicts with applicable law, DriveSchoolHub may apply a platform-level minimum standard.

Examples (subject to each School's policy):

  • • Cancelling before the School's cutoff may entitle you to a full or partial refund.
  • • Late cancellations or no-shows may be non-refundable.
  • • If a School cancels, you may be offered a reschedule, a replacement School, or a refund.

Refunds are issued back to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer controls how quickly a refund appears on your statement.

5. Disputes and issue resolution

If something goes wrong with a booking, we want to help.

If you are a Student:

  • Contact DriveSchoolHub support as soon as possible (ideally within 24 hours of the issue).
  • Provide your booking ID and a description of what happened.
  • We may temporarily pause payout to the School while we review.

If you are a School:

  • Respond promptly to any dispute raised through DriveSchoolHub.
  • Provide any relevant records (attendance, messages, policies).

After reviewing both sides and applicable policies, DriveSchoolHub may:

  • Issue a full or partial refund
  • Provide a credit or rebooking
  • Release funds to the School
  • Take enforcement action (warnings, removal)

Our decision in platform disputes is final for purposes of the marketplace, but does not waive any rights you may have under local law.

6. Conduct expectations

We expect all users to behave respectfully and lawfully.

Students agree to:

  • Arrive on time and be prepared with any required documents
  • Follow all instructions related to safety and local driving laws
  • Not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol during lessons
  • Treat Schools and instructors with respect

Schools and instructors agree to:

  • Maintain all required licenses, permits, and insurance
  • Provide a safe, road-worthy vehicle
  • Deliver lessons professionally and on time
  • Follow applicable laws and regulations
  • Comply with DriveSchoolHub's instructor code of conduct

DriveSchoolHub may, at its discretion, warn, suspend, or remove any account that violates these expectations or otherwise creates a safety risk.

7. Liability & conduct disclaimer

DriveSchoolHub does not control, manage, or supervise the day-to-day conduct of Schools or instructors. Lessons are provided solely by the School you choose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

DriveSchoolHub is not responsible or liable for any acts, omissions, negligence, accidents, injuries, property damage, loss, or disputes arising out of or related to:

  • • any lesson, vehicle, or training program;
  • • the behavior or performance of any School, instructor, student, or third party; or
  • • your use of any third-party products or services, even if found through DriveSchoolHub.

Your legal remedies for issues with a lesson are primarily against the School or instructor, not DriveSchoolHub.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Privacy and data security

We take privacy and security seriously.

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We use HTTPS, reputable payment processors, and other safeguards to protect data.

Schools receive only the information necessary to deliver lessons.

Schools must use that information only for legitimate booking-related purposes.

9. Changes to the platform and to these Terms

DriveSchoolHub may update or modify the platform, including features, pricing, or these Terms, at any time.

  • When changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice (for example, by email or in-app).
  • By continuing to use DriveSchoolHub after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
  • If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform and, if applicable, close your account.

10. Governing law and disputes

Because DriveSchoolHub may operate in multiple jurisdictions, the specific governing law and venue for disputes will be set out in our main legal Terms of Use. As a general rule:

  • These Terms will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction identified in the legal Terms of Use, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
  • Any disputes arising out of or relating to DriveSchoolHub may need to be resolved through arbitration or specific courts as described there.
Please consult the full legal Terms of Use for exact details
